Before you can make any transfers, you must first set up the Ledger Nano X.

1. Pair your Ledger Nano X with Ledger Live
If you have already paired your Ledger Nano X with the Ledger Live application, you can skip this step.
Ledger Live is an application from Ledger that is used to set up and manage all your Ledger devices.
You can connect your Ledger device to Ledger Live either via the USB cable or via Bluetooth depending on the Ledger model you have.
After establishing the connection between the Ledger Live application and your Ledger Nano X, you must verify that the code displayed on your mobile device or computer screen exactly matches the one displayed on your Nano X.
To validate the code, you need to press both buttons on your Ledger Nano X.
2. Install Ethereum (ETH)
There is an application for each cryptocurrency in Ledger Live. To receive Ethereum (ETH) in Ledger Nano X, you need to install the application of the cryptocurrency that you would like to receive on Ledger Live application.
In this case, you need to install the “Ethereum” application.
After the installation, the Ethereum account will be added to the Ledger Live successfully.
3. Click “Receive”
Now, go to “Portfolio” and click “Add account” and add Ethereum (ETH).
Then, navigate to “Accounts” in the Ledger Live application and click on “Ethereum”.
Then, you will be able to see “Buy”, “Swap”, and “Receive”.
Since you need to transfer Ethereum (ETH) from Binance to Ledger Nano X, click “Receive”.
Now, you will be able to see the Ethereum deposit address.
4. Verify the Address on Ledger Device
Once you have seen the Ethereum deposit address on the Ledger Live application, you need to verify that address on your Ledger Nano X.
To do so, you need to open the Ethereum application on your Ledger device.
Navigate to the Ethereum app on your Ledger Nano X and press both buttons on the device to get into it.
After entering the Ethereum app on the Ledger Nano X, you will get to see the same Ethereum address that you saw in Step 3.
Click the right button on your Ledger Nano X device, followed by click both buttons to approve.
On successful verification, you can copy the Ethereum deposit address from the Ledge Live application.
5. Find ETH in Binance
Log in to your Binance account and click “Wallet” in the top right corner of the webpage.
Then, click “Fiat and Spot” or “Funding Wallet”.
If you have bought ETH via fiat currency/ spot trade, you need to click “Fiat and Spot”. Otherwise, click “Funding Wallet”.
The search box appears once you click “Fiat and Spot” or “Funding Wallet“.
Use the search box to find Ethereum (ETH).
Once you have found ETH, click on “Withdraw”.
6. Paste the ETH Address and Enter the Amount
When you click “Withdraw,” you will be taken to the Withdrawal window.
There, you need to paste the ETH address that you copied in Step 4.
After pasting the ETH address on the Address field, you need to select the Network as Ethereum since you are transferring the native Ethereum token.
Then, you need to fill in the withdrawal amount in ETH.
If you want to send all of your ETH to your Ledger device, click “MAX”.
Lastly, click “Withdraw”.
Note: You must transfer a minimum of 0.0002 ETH.
After clicking Withdraw, a confirmation pop-up will appear.
Check the address and the network and click “Continue”.
7. Enter the Verification Code
After clicking “Continue”, you need to perform the security check to complete the transfer. To do so, you must enter the OTP you received by email and mobile.
That’s it. You have successfully sent Ethereum (ETH) from Binance to Ledger Nano X.
8. Check Ledger Live
Now, head back to the Ledger Live application and click “Accounts” to see the amount of ETH received.
You can also check the ETH balance on your Ledger Nano X device.
