Depositing cryptocurrencies in a secured crypto wallet is always a good practice.
You will find this article helpful if you intend to withdraw, deposit or transfer Ethereum from Binance to MetaMask.
In case you didn’t set up the MetaMask wallet, you must create and set up one.
Withdrawing, depositing, or transferring Ethereum (ETH) from Binance to MetaMask is pretty straightforward. All you need is your MetaMask wallet address and any amount of Ethereum to send. That’s it.
To send Ethereum (ETH) from Binance to MetaMask, there will be a network fee of ~0.0003 to 0.0012 ETH applicable.

Steps to Withdraw/ Transfer Ethereum from Binance Website to Metamask
- Go to Binance website
- Select Wallet
- Click Fiat and Spot
- Find Ethereum
- Paste your MetaMask wallet address
- Enter the amount
- Click Withdraw
- Enter the verification code sent
- Check in the recent withdrawal section

1. Go to Binance website
Go to the Binance website.
You must already have an account. Just type your email address or mobile number and password and click Log In.
2. Select Wallet
Immediately after your log-in, Binance will take you to your dashboard.
On the right corner of the screen, you can see Wallet dropdown.
Just click on it and click Overview.
3. Click Fiat and Spot
Once you click the Overview, you can see many options on the left side of the screen.
There you could see Fiat and Spot; click on it.
4. Find Ethereum
On the Fiat and Spot section, you can see all assets that you’ve bought.
Find Ethereum on the list and click Withdraw, which is located just the right side of your asset.
5. Paste your MetaMask wallet address
After clicking the Withdraw, the site will show you the Withdraw Crypto window.
There you can see few fields; one of them is Address.
In that Address field, you need to paste your MetaMask wallet address.
To copy the address,
- Go to Metamask extension
- Enter the password to Unlock the wallet
- Copy your wallet address by clicking just above your ETH balance (see the pic below)
6. Enter the amount
After pasting the MetaMask wallet address, the Network field will automatically gets updated. In case it is not, select Ethereum (ERC-20).
After that, in the Withdraw amount field, enter the amount of Ethereum you want to send. Click MAX, if you want to send all Ethereum you hold.
7. Click Withdraw
After filling in the all necessary details, click Withdraw.
Upon clicking Withdraw, the confirmation pop-up will appear. Check your wallet address and click Continue.
Remember, if you send your crypto asset to the wrong wallet, that cannot be reversed and you will lose your asset permanently.
Note: there will be a network fee.
8. Enter the verification code sent
Next is security verification.
Binance will ask you to fill in the e-mail and phone verification code that has been sent.
Type the verification codes received in your e-mail and phone in the according fields and click Submit.
After the submission of verification codes, a positive notification will appear.
9. Check in the recent withdrawal section
After the successful submission, you need to wait for the processing.
Usually, asset will be transferred within 10 minutes. For us, it took 7 minutes.
You can check your status in the Recent Withdrawals section if you scroll down a bit.
10. Check your MetaMask wallet
Once you see the Completed status in the Recent Withdrawals section, head back to your MetaMask wallet extension and see your wallet balance on the front preview itself.

- Tap wallet icon
- Find Ethereum
- Click Withdraw
- Paste your MetaMask wallet address
- Enter the amount & click Withdrawal
- Confirm order
- Enter the verification code sent
- Check your MetaMask wallet
1. Go to Binance mobile application
Go to the Binance application on your mobile phone.
In case if you haven’t downloaded it yet, you can by clicking this link for Android; click this link for iOS.
After downloading the application, you need to type your email address and password to log in.
Then, you are into the Binance Lite mode by default. If you want to switch to Pro mode, tap the Profile icon in the top left of the screen and tap the toggle button.
The Binance Pro mode might look complicated. Hence, Binance Lite is preferable for beginners.

2. Tap wallet icon
Immediately after your log in, the Binance application will take you to your dashboard.
There you could see wallet icon. Tap on it.
3. Find Ethereum
After tapping wallet icon, your assets list will be visible. Choose Ethereum.
4. Click Withdraw
After tapping the Ethereum, you could see the availability of Ethereum and history.
Down below, there will be two buttons: Withdraw and Deposit.
Tap on Withdraw
5. Paste your MetaMask wallet address
In the Withdraw ETH window, there will be 3 fields.
Among them, the first one is Address field. This is where you need to paste your MetaMask wallet address or tap on the scan button to scan.
To copy your wallet address,
- Go to Metamask extension
- Enter the password to Unlock the wallet
- Copy your wallet address by clicking just above your ETH balance (see the pic below) or click on the three dots and select Account details, there you can see the QR code to scan.
6. Enter the amount
Just below the address field, there will be Network and Amount fields.
After pasting your MetaMask wallet address, the Network field will automatically gets updated. In case it is not, select Ethereum (ERC-20).
In the Amount field, enter the amount of Ethereum you want to send. tap MAX, if you want to send all Ethereum you hold.
After filling the all necessary details, tap Withdrawal.
Note: Withdrawal must be at least 0.01 ETH & there will be a network fee.
7. Confirm order
Upon clicking Withdrawal, the confirmation pop-up will appear. Check your wallet address and tap Confirm.
Remember, if you send your crypto asset to wrong wallet, that cannot be reversed and you will lose your asset permanently.
8. Enter the verification code sent
Next is security verification.
Binance will ask you to fill the e-mail and phone verification code that has been sent.
Type the verification codes received in your e-mail and phone in the according fields and tap Submit.
9. Check your MetaMask wallet
Once you see the transaction notification, head back to your MetaMask wallet extension and see your wallet balance on the front preview itself.
Note: Usually, the Binance to MetaMask transfers happen within 10 minutes. For us, it took 7 minutes.
FAQs
1. Can I send Binance Coin (BNB) to MetaMask wallet?
Yes, you can transfer/ send Binance (BNB) to MetaMask. However, it is not straightforward. You need to manually add the Smart Chain network to MetaMask wallet.
This is because BNB was issued as an ERC-20 token but now it has moved into its own mainnet chain.
2. Can I store Bitcoin in the MetaMask wallet?
No, you can’t store Bitcoin in Metamask. However, you can store Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) since it is an ERC-20 token.
That being said you can swap your BTC to WBTC at a reasonable fee in CoinList and wBTC cafè.
